LUNCH AT DOVE MOUNTAIN

We met Kent, Lesley, Lori and Bill (Lesley's sister and her husband) for lunch to celebrate Lesley's birthday which is Sunday.  Despite the wind blowing we had a delightful lunch and good time.

This is one of the courses where they play the Accenture golf tournament.  Very expensive - we won't be golfing there anytime soon! But it was fun to visit.  Happy birthday, Lesley!

NEW CAMERA

If you read the Easter Blog, you know that I dropped my camera - so rather than spend the money to fix an almost 5 year old camera - I bought a new one.  The following pictures are taken by me trying to learn the complexities of a new camera.

After putting the Easter blog on (next blog), I realized I hadn't put our Christmas get together on the blog as promised.  (old age is hell!)  So better late than never.

EASTER SUNDAY

Once again a group of us got together in the Fiesta Room at the Rec Center to celebrate the holiday.  Jacke, Shirlie and Barbara were the hosts for the Easter event.  Before the festivities even got started, I dropped my camera and now it is out of focus, so Scott was nice enough to let me use his camera for the group picture and also let me download the other pictures he had taken.  Thanks Scottie!

We had a big group for Easter, 27.  The food was great as well as the company!  Now all the people that leave for the summer are getting ready to head out.  We'll miss them, but we'll start this all over again in November when Thanksgiving rolls around!
